F\u00f6r att \u00f6ka tillg\u00e4ngligheten till Hinders\u00f6n och skapa b\u00e4ttre f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningar f\u00f6r b\u00e5de permanentboende och bes\u00f6ksn\u00e4ring togs underlag fram f\u00f6r milj\u00f6pr\u00f6vning och kostnadsber\u00e4kningar inf\u00f6r en f\u00f6rdjupning av farleden b\u00e5de v\u00e4ster och norr om \u00f6n. Landh\u00f6jning och igenslamning hade gjort delar av farleden sv\u00e5rframkomliga vilket p\u00e5verkade allt fr\u00e5n boende och bes\u00f6kare till f\u00f6retag inom fiske och turism.<\/p>\n

Som en del av projektet anlades \u00e4ven en ny ang\u00f6ringspunkt vid det historiska omr\u00e5det Gruvan och ett sj\u00f6bodkar med landg\u00e5ng byggdes i samarbete med gymnasieelever och lokala akt\u00f6rer. Den nya ang\u00f6ringsplatsen g\u00f6r det enklare att bes\u00f6ka det gamla gruvomr\u00e5det som tidigare saknat tillg\u00e4nglig brygga och bidrar till att levandeg\u00f6ra platsens historia.<\/p>\n
