Village Development Jävre

To gather the village around a common future and highlight all that Jävre has to offer, a local development plan was created. Through survey responses, interviews, and conversations with villagers, vacation home owners, and visitors, a clear picture emerged of what exists in the village and what is in demand. The thoughts of young people were also taken into account through close cooperation with the school.

During the course of the project, several business meetings were held that created new contacts and led to concrete business collaborations between local entrepreneurs. A new website and an Instagram account were launched to showcase Jävre's offerings and show what is happening in the village. This makes it easier for both residents and visitors to choose locally and sustainably.

The project also had positive ripple effects. Through the engagement in the reference group, new initiatives emerged such as village day, barbecue areas, and renovation of the bathing area.
