The kitchen table – meetings that create magic and opportunities

To meet the demand for new experiences in the countryside and elevate the green industry as a driver in both local food production and tourism, a new concept is now emerging in Pite Älvdal. More farmers are diversifying their operations and there is a growing need to think innovatively, find collaborations across industry boundaries, and make the countryside more visible.

Based on the strengths of individual farms, the project aims to create meetings – around the kitchen table – where entrepreneurs, creators, and conversation coaches gather. At each meeting, a specific farm is in focus. Participants explore its development opportunities together and lay the foundation for new business ideas and collaborations. In addition to these meetings, educational blocks are also offered with themes such as packaging, financing, and communication.

The kitchen table wants to contribute to a vibrant countryside where new businesses emerge, where farms become destinations, and where people with ideas meet and are inspired. The goal is concrete results: new concepts, collaborations, and a stronger network among businesses in the area.
