Does your organization have an idea for a new activity in culture or leisure in the countryside?
Answer the questions below to make a first check of whether your idea may fit within the micro-support Activities in rural areas.
To proceed with an application, you need to be able to answer yes to all questions.
The test is indicative. Leader Spira Mare makes the final assessment of whether the project meets the conditions for support.
Is it an organization that will apply for the support?
The micro-support can be applied for by organizations.
Does your idea concern a new activity in culture or leisure?
The micro-support is intended to test and implement new activities in culture and leisure.
The activity should be something new and developmental and not be part of your regular operations or an activity that you are already conducting.
Will the activity be carried out in the countryside within the Leader Spira Mare area?
The activity should be carried out in the countryside within the geographical area of Leader Spira Mare and contribute to local development.
Is the project a clearly defined activity that is carried out on one or a few occasions?
The support is not intended for a longer series of recurring activities that are conducted regularly over a longer period.
Will the activity be open to the target group, free for participants, and conducted without income?
The activity should be charitable and open to the target group it is aimed at. Participation should not be limited to the organization's own members, for example.
It is fine to target the activity to a specific group, such as children, youth, or the elderly.
The activity should be free for participants, and the project must not have any income.
After the project has been completed, you can continue with the activity on your own and then also charge fees or have other income.
Are the costs you want to apply for support for related to the new activity?
You can apply for a maximum of 27,000 kronor including VAT. The support covers 100 percent of the project's approved costs.
The costs must be necessary to carry out the activity, have a clear connection to the activity, be reasonable, and be included in the project's budget.

Are the project's costs at most 27,000 kronor including VAT?
All Leader projects must include voluntary work.
Voluntary work can include time for planning, preparation, implementation, participation, cleaning, and follow-up.
Voluntary time can be counted from the day you submit a complete application to Leader Spira Mare.
Will the project be carried out without funding from other public support or EU support?
The support can cover 100 percent of the project's approved costs. The project must not be financed with other public support or EU support.
Will the project include voluntary work?
All Leader projects must include voluntary work.
Voluntary work can include time for planning, preparation, implementation, participation, cleaning, and follow-up.
Voluntary time can be counted from the day you submit a complete application to Leader Spira Mare.
