The future workshop
The Future Workshop gives you the opportunity to explore together how your place or your area can develop. You receive support in examining needs, opportunities, and ideas, creating a common picture of what is important and prioritizing what you want to work on further.
The work should have a clear geographical connection and can be based on a locality, several nearby localities, or another geographically defined area. It can involve the development of the area as a whole or focus on a specific place, issue, or theme.
What will we get help with?
The Future Workshop is a development project carried out together with Leader Spira Mare. During the work, you receive support in exploring needs, opportunities, and ideas for the place or area and prioritizing what you want to work on further.
The work includes about 3-4 meetings, mainly digital, over approximately 10 weeks. Between meetings, you need to spend your own time on the work. Leader Spira Mare coordinates the process and external expertise is used as support based on the direction and needs of the work.
The result of the Future Workshop is compiled into a development plan that becomes a basis for your continued development work.
After the Future Workshop, you also have the opportunity to proceed with a Association Grant to carry out a smaller development initiative identified in the work. You are guaranteed an Association Grant if the initiative meets the conditions.
You apply to participate in the Future Workshop – not for financial resources.

Applications to the Future Workshop are open until October 31, 2026.

Organizations that want to develop a place or an area within the operational area of Leader Spira Mare can apply to participate.
