Activity center in Råne Älvdal

To strengthen the tourism industry in Råne Älvdal and offer year-round experiences in nature, Canoe Adventure North has built an activity center at Stenbergsviksudden in Niemiholm. The area designated as particularly suitable for tourism development is located by the Råne River and provides safer paddling waters and better access to winter trails.

The new building serves as a starting point for guided tours, as a meeting place, and as secure storage for equipment. This makes it easier to arrange tours and events for both international guests and local groups, school classes, and conferences. At the same time, the center contributes to a more accessible outdoor life for a broader target audience.

Already during the project's progress, new collaborations have been established and packaged experiences have been developed together with local actors in Råneå. The project has also sparked interest among foreign tour operators.
