Rural development plans in Sörbyarna in Luleå municipality

To create future confidence and long-term development in the villages south of the Lule River, local rural plans were developed in Kallax, Måttsund, Avan, Antnäs, Alvik, Klöverträsk, and Ersnäs. Through dialogue with residents, businesses, and the municipality, each village has formulated its priorities for the future. The plans have then been gathered into a common development plan for the entire area, which has provided both the villages and the municipality with a concrete tool for collaboration and planning.

The rural plans are seen as living documents and continue to be used and updated locally. They strengthen Sörbyarna's opportunities to offer services, housing, an active business community, and make it easier for both residents and decision-makers to work towards a viable countryside.
