Culture and nature trail

To highlight the natural and cultural values of Kalix Nyborg and promote an active leisure for all ages, a 3-kilometer long trail along the sea was made accessible. Along the route, clearing and felling work was carried out, and several places and activities were created to engage both residents and visitors. Barbecue areas, rest areas, and an outdoor gym were built, and historical sites along the trail were documented. A local historian and volunteers from the Kalix Research Association contributed to the development of texts and images for historical signs and brochures. To make the area visible, visual material was also produced and printed in a folder that was distributed in both Swedish and English.
