Resource Center Creative Villages in collaboration

The project aimed to revive the local development power in the villages and take advantage of the local opportunities.

By developing Creative Villages in Älvsbyn economic association into a long-term membership-based organization for local development issues, a platform was created to support business and village development.

Activities such as seminars and workshops have inspired businesses, associations, and residents to start their own businesses and collaborate, as well as contributed to the development of new services within the tourism industry. The project was carried out in the municipalities of Älvsbyn and Boden with a focus on Älvsbyn and included, among other things, mapping of development needs and support for businesses and associations.
