Collaboration Green Rehabilitation
About the project
In order to meet a growing need for work-oriented rehabilitation in a natural environment, two female entrepreneurs in Boden initiated a collaboration to develop new services. Their goal was to combine their experiences in care, animal husbandry, and therapy into a joint business development.
The project included training in everything from LOU procurement and rehabilitation to animal activities and led to several concrete results: a Green Arena certification, a new limited company, and new services including a cat boarding facility and rehabilitation. The project also contributed to increased competence, networking, and a strengthened position for female entrepreneurship in rural areas.
Despite the impact of the pandemic, much was accomplished. The project demonstrated that collaboration and competence development are crucial for small rural businesses to be able to develop new services and create local community benefits.
