Southern River Valley – Route 616

To elevate the landscape and entrepreneurship along road 616 between Luleå and Boden, the project Route 616 was initiated. Through collaborations with small business owners, associations, and municipalities, a new identity for the area has been formed. Courses, food studios, Christmas lunches, art exhibitions, and a Reko ring have inspired increased cultivation, processing, and local trade. The project has strengthened the ties between the villages and created networks, meeting places, and hope for the future in the southern river valley.
