Development of Kanis to Multisport Stadium phase 1

In Älvsbyn, a comprehensive approach to the future of Kanis outdoor and winter sports area was taken during the course of the project. The goal was to explore the possibility of developing the area into a year-round open multisport stadium.

Through dialogue with stakeholders, study visits, and needs mapping, a common vision emerged. SWOT analyses were used to identify strengths and challenges, and concrete visualizations were produced to show how the area can be developed.

The project resulted in a joint development plan and also provided an overview of possible funding avenues moving forward.
