Development of planned cultural investment on Seskarö

Seskarö local heritage association built a permanent outdoor stage in connection with Folkets Hus which was part of the island's investment in culture. The stage was created to serve as a central place for cultural events and activities and was part of a long-term effort to create a new cultural era on the island.

The construction work included the erection of the stage as well as preparations and implementation of cultural activities. The stage was used, among other things, during the summer of 2017 when the musical theater Firewood girl was performed in front of a full audience as part of the Archipelago Festival. The permanent stage also made it possible to carry out a new round of the Archipelago Festival in the summer of 2018 with the support of the infrastructure that was established the year before.
