Vision 2030 Edeforsbygden

To take a joint approach to the future in Edeforsbygden, a project was initiated to gather thoughts, needs, and ideas from those who live and work in the area. The goal was to collaboratively create a long-term development plan that reflects the community's own conditions and resources.

Through interviews, workshops, and collaboration with schools, associations, businesses, and the municipality's administrations, a clear picture has emerged. The result was a concrete action plan and a new organization within EDEK that will carry the work forward.

As part of the project, a new website was developed that collects information about the community and serves as a digital meeting place. At the same time, the Service Point in Harads has developed into a natural place for meetings, dialogue, and idea exchange. By building local networks and new forms of collaboration, Edeforsbygden has gained tools for continued development, and the work now continues under the association's management.
